The 11 September 2001has become a turning point in history, a day that will not be forgotten. At least seven American aircraft have been hijacked and so far three have been flown into the two towers of the World Trade Centre, and The Pentagon. Both towers of The World Trade centre, in which 50 000 people work have collapsed and much of the Pentagon has collapsed. In a sense the world has stopped. All markets across the world have been closed. Gold reached a high of $290 and closed at $286 as people looked to sell dollars and buy gold.
