Priority actions and commitments to implement the outcomes of the WSSD    9-May-03
     
SUMMARY OF THE ELEVENTH SESSION OF THE COMMISSION ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (CSD-11): CSD-11 concluded with the adoption of a multi-year programme of work for the period 2004-2017.  THis programme will be organized as a series of two-year Implementation Cycles, with a Review Session and a Policy Session in each cycle. Each two-year cycle is expected to consider a cluster of issues. The upcoming 2004/ 2005 cycle will focus on water, sanitation and human settlements.
