Econometrix provides a range of economic analysis services, both in the form of ongoing economic analyses and consulting assignments.

Services cover the South African macro economy as well as industry analyses, with a focus on several key sectors. Ongoing services typically consist of quarterly quantitative analyses, more frequent briefing sheets, ad hoc client consultations, and presentations or workshops. Presentations can be arranged to focus on the needs of a client group. Strategic analysis services are packaged around interactive computer products with a combination of data, forecasts, models and software.

Consultancy

Econometrix undertakes a wide range of consultancy assignments in both public and private sectors, from economic policy assessment and econometric modelling at macro level, to industry studies, scenario / strategy inputs, investment appraisals, cost-benefit analyses, forecasting and feasibility studies at micro level. Assignments typically make use of quantitative analysis and modelling.

Econometrix frequently handles economic and socio-economic components of larger projects, or serves in a recognised expert role.
