Windows-based computerised strategic analysis pack for assessment of economic
potential, ratios and trends relating to sectors of the South African economy. Covers 27
manufacturing sectors, 20 major/submajor sectors and approximately 90 subsectors, with
sales, value added, investment, capital stock, employment and number of businesses,
historically and forecast. Financial ratio analysis, graphing, reporting, economic
attractiveness factor rating, scoring and ranking facilities. Can use alternative
scenarios generated in Scenario Modeller. Price includes quarterly updates and 24 manhours
user support.

the 9 provinces and 79 statistical regions. Optional household income and
expenditure component. Price includes quarterly updates and 36 manhours user

planning, business financing and monitoring purposes, with interactive software and
spreadsheet interface, plus sectoral and business financing analysis reports. Prepared
quarterly.
Supply Arrangements
Econometrix provides these products/services in the form of a combined software and
data/forecasting support service on an annual contract basis. This includes dataset
updates incorporating most recent economic data available and econometric forecasts using
latest data and model structures, provided electronically each quarter.
Econometrix provides user support telephonically for any difficulties encountered in
installing or using the products, subject to a specified maximum number of hours.
Maintenance and support is included in the contract price. Econometrix generally
incorporates enhancements to the software provided without additional charge; pricing of
material enhancements would be reflected where applicable in subsequent (renewal) annual
contracts entered into. Prices are for up to 5 users at a single business site.
Alternative arrangements can be made for larger numbers of users and multiple sites.
Copyright of the products remains with Econometrix. Prices exclude VAT and any
disbursements which may be incurred in travelling or in distributing the product to the
client: any such disbursements incurred are oncharged at cost.
