The service is intended to condense important news on both the corporate and product fronts concerning the global motor industry. Information is sourced from the Internet, and reduced to a two-page format for easy mental digestion by subscribers.

The main value added by the Econometrix product is the recognition and compaction of key topics that would otherwise absorb around 20 highly-skilled man-hours of subscribers' time. Add to that the ability to comment from a succinct South African point of view, and the value of the news service becomes obvious.
